島津的螢光偵檢器

島津有LC用的的螢光偵檢器，也有出一整臺的螢光光度計。 島津的RF偵檢器有這些功能： 可以同時偵測兩組Ex/Em波長 可以當螢光光度計來用，可以直接接積分器，或者用LabSolutions控制都可以。不過只能做Ex Scan 或Em Scan，不能做3D。 可以設定GAIN跟Sensitivity調整訊號放大率 Gain是放大器(Amplifier)的增益 Sensitivity應該是PMT的電壓。這就是島津討厭的地方，很多東西不解釋清楚。由不同的組合可以提供不同的訊號放大率。 機種： LC : RF-10A, RF-10Axl, RF-20A, RF-20Axs 目前還常看得到的有這四個機型。當然還看得到更早的例如RF-535不過看來已經沒人再用了。 RF-20A系列還是現役產品，值得搞清楚兩款的差異   RF-20A RF-20Axs 光源   可加裝汞蒸氣燈校準波長 波長範圍 220~650nm 200~750nm S/N (Water Raman Peak) 1200 2000 Cell Temperature Control N/A 4 (or room temp -10C) to 40C RF-10A系列都沒有vp功能，flow cell都不能控溫(RF-10Axl Super才可以)。波長範圍一樣，但xl版本的波長準確度、拉曼光譜的S/N比都比較好。重點是這可以用軟體控制。 疑問： 要怎麼設同時偵測四組Ex/Em波長 單波長模式時，Em可以設為0，這是什麼意思? RF-6000 這是大臺單獨的螢光光度計。先只考慮一般液體樣品，除了裝在Cuvette裡一個一個測，或者用pump抽進flow cell測，也可以加裝LC flow cell。有12跟120μL兩種大小。而RF-20A系列標準flow cell容積是12μL，另有semi-micro flow cell 3μL，沒有120μL這麼大的。從機身後面的類比訊...

UV-1280 and Water Analysis Program with Sipper-160L

簡介 UV-1280 是目前島津唯一一臺 single beam 的 UV  分光光度計。效能當然比其他 double beam 的機種差，新的 LabSolutions UV 也不支援。如果要用電腦控制，也只能用舊的 UVProbe 。優點當然是便宜，體積也是部份原因。 不過有個選購項目 Water Analysis Program 。這是一整套解決方案，可以對 22 種水樣測試 39 個測項 。只要將水樣加入細川株式會社   Kyoritsu Chemical-Check Lab., Corp 的 kit 處理，然後直接送入儀器中即可測試，以內建檢量線計算出濃度。 Instroduction UV-1280 is the only single beam UV spectrometer of Shimadzu.  Performance is not as good as other double beam spectrometers, and LabSolutions UV-vis doesn’t support it.  If you still want to control it by computer, the only option is the old UVProbe.  The benefit is cheaper, and smaller size.  There is  a  option “Water Analysis Program” for UV-1280.  It’s a complete solution for analyzing 22 sample types/39 items.  Just pretreat water sample into the kit provided by Kyoritsu Chemical-Check Lab., Corp, load into UV-1280.  The instrument will quantify the water sample for you. 硬體  -  Hardware UV-12...

GCMS

Default GCMS Configuration: SPL-GCMS Always order 0.25mm I.D. column. Avoid using twin line. Dual monitors is highly recommended, triple is not bad, but I think most of user cannot master them. Consumable: Aluminum Oxide, SZ-220-94606-00, 4 Oz. Abrasive paper Interesting Options: AFT: either detector splitting or detector switching system.  Add a GC detector to work with MS at the same time. For option to remove column without vent: Restek 22431 for regular fused silica column Frontier Lab Vent-Free GCMS adapter for metal column. Hydrogen as carrier gas: Hydrogen sensor is highly recommended.  It can detect hydrogen leaking inside GC oven. Hydrogen can be vent into room by these paths, connect those to fume hood to get rid of H2. septum purge split vent. rough pump exhaust. Hydrogen may saturate pi bond for VOC. Hydrogen may split SVOC internal standard peak.
